Talks are regularly held within the house, allowing a range of perspectives to contribute to the evolving dialogue of Peranakan heritage in Singapore.

Presenters and facilitators include subject matter experts, artists, cultural representatives and NUS faculty, who each apply their depth of knowledge and experience from a unique perspective and extend the cultural conversation in multiple directions.

Organised to generate awareness of the challenges and considerations in managing the elements that make up the heritage ecosystem, this series of talks incorporates themes on evolving cultural practices and policies, collecting and display, and conservation and urban development.
